This piece was inspired after I fell into the intoxicating world of Zodiac Academy! I've always loved Phoenix birds. The lore and myth of them is truly fascinating. They certainly make a good emblem of peace, forgiveness, strength and power. I loved the idea of one simply flying through the night, alight with the fire from within, guiding its viewer to a new destination. This one is one of my favorite paintings inspired by the books and I love how the painting seems to just glow!
All of my oil paintings are done with quality oil paints and on stretched canvas. Traditional oil paintings have a longevity surpassing many generations. This is one of the reasons I chose oil paints to ensure your painting is enjoyed for years to come. Instructions on cleaning your painting will come with the personally signed Certificate of Authenticity for your painting.
Your painting will come already stretched on stretcher bars. The last photo shows an example of the type of canvas I use. As you can see the canvas is stretched around wooden stretcher bars and stapled on the back. Shipping and handling is given the utmost care and attention so your painting will arrive in the best possible condition. If for any reason this is not the case, please contact me and I will do my best to remedy the situation.
